Every time I hear about a video game’s servers being permanently shut down, I get really sad. I mean, if it was a widely played game, that means it meant a lot to a lot of people, and now they’re not going to have that any more. I think of all the friends I’ve made on Xbox LIVE, and everyone I’ve grown closer to because of it, and if I lost that, man, I don’t know what I’d do. Just thinking of everyone on the last night the servers are up crushes me. I have incalculable memories from online games, that I wouldn’t trade for the world. They’re some of the best memories I have. Basically, if you frequent a game whose servers are being closed in the near future(I know there are several), my heart goes out to you.
